Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fermented bamboo shoots, sliced into thin strips

  • ½ tbsp turmeric 

  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced 

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • Chillies, chopped (to taste)

  • 4 tbsp mustard oil 

  • Salt, to taste

Directions: 

  1. Heat the oil in a pan or wok. Add the onion, garlic and chillies and sauté them until softened. 

  2. Add the turmeric and season with salt.

  3. Add the fermented bamboo shoots and stir well.

  4. Add water accordingly and let it simmer until the fermented bamboo shoots soften.

  5. Serve as a side dish.
